International Literacy Association 2016 Conference & Exhibits

The Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau, along with the Boston Hospitality Partners, is thrilled to welcome the International Literacy Association to Boston for their 2016 Conference & Exhibits. A lot has changed here recently, so be prepared to be introduced to a new  Boston. Our Waterfront is booming with restaurants and harbor walks, our museums have expanded and our hotels have renovated. But not to worry, our mix of colonial charm and urban sophistication still shines through making Boston a dynamic site for meetings of all kinds.

Cambridge  is often referred to as "Boston's Left Bank" with an atmosphere and attitude all its own. It's the spirited, slightly mischievous side of Boston, just a bridge away on the other side of the Charles River. Packed with youthful vitality and international flair, it is a city where Old World meets New Age in a mesmerizing blend of history and technology.

Even though Boston is one of the largest cities in the country, its accessibility is unparalleled. Visitors can easily see the sights on foot, as well as use an excellent public transportation system. In addition to everything within the city limits,  some of Massachusetts' most scenic and historic towns are just a short distance from the city center and its proximity to other must-see sites all around New England, making it one of the country's most diverse and exciting locations.
