Tourism Season Heats Up in the Hub

The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) forecasts another summer of robust visitation to Boston.  Visitor highlights include the 35th annual Boston Harborfest (July 1 - July 4) and Outside the Box on Boston Common (July 13 - July 17).  Special events in July and August willaugment weekend visitation; the Mini Maker Faire occurs on Fort Point Channel July 23, the Boston Seafood Festival takes over Fish Pier August 7, and Red Bull Flugtag Boston debuts on the Charles River Esplanade August 20.

BOSTON, Mass. - The NCAA, Gillette Stadium, Harvard University, and the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau today announced the 2017 and 2018 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships will be played at Gillette Stadium, the home of the National Football League's New England Patriots and Major League Soccer's New England Revolution. The Division I, II and III Men's Lacrosse Championships will be played over Memorial Day Weekend, on May 27-29 in 2017 and on May 26-28 in 2018.
