Brighton/Allston

Welcome to Brighton/Allston

Brighton/Allston (aka Brighton, MA and Allston, MA, 2 subdivisions of Boston proper) are known for their large population of students.  Boston University and Boston College bookend the Brighton/Allston neighborhood. Brighton/Allston is easily accessible by the MBTA Green line. The B line runs down Commonwealth Avenue providing easy access to BU, while the C & D lines will bring you to Boston College. The area is highly residential with lots of restaurants, music clubs and bars catering to the college and 20 something crowds.  Artesani Park and Playground on the banks of the Charles River and Soldiers Field Road provide a variety of outdoor activities for families and sports enthusiasts alike.  The park hosts a children's playground, wading pool, running trails, boat rentals and more.

Visitors to Brighton will want to stop for a quick bite at the famous Twin Donuts. From here, take a right on Washington and explore two of Brighton’s most vibrant commercial and cultural areas - Brighton Center and Oak Square. The neighborhood is very pedestrian-friendly; stroll through streets lined with historic homes and Boston’s signature triple-deckers. Pop into fun restaurants and pubs or recharge at one of many local cafes. The Brighton Common Farmers Market is one of the best in Boston.

Allston features fabulous music clubs, diverse dining options and beautiful street art. Accessible via the Green Line, Allston is home to thousands of college students, which makes it the perfect location for a thriving music scene. Brighton Music Hall and Paradise Rock Club are both iconic venues to see a show. Allston is also a haven for discerning palates, with myriad Asian and Indian restaurants inviting patrons to dine from various corners of the globe.
